Tada Stool

Main Project Image

A stool designed to be placed on walls as a decorative piece.

In small living spaces, efficiency is essential. This project focuses on designing a flat-pack furniture piece that seamlessly integrates into compact environments while remaining practical and easy to use. The target user values both functionality and aesthetics, seeking furniture that blends into the space as a decorative element but transforms when needed. The key challenge is the lack of extra seating for those who enjoy hosting guests but do not have room for large furniture pieces. Inspired by Memphis design, the product should be visually striking yet space-efficient, ensuring it serves both as a statement piece and a functional seating solution when required.

Based on the iconic design language of Memphis Studio, decorative forms were created for the wall as an opportunity to intervene in space through storage and decoration. The selected form was determined by the number of pieces and assembly time, resulting in a more abstract figure.
